Thank you all so much for your understanding and validation!!! My "vacation" is on the 20th starting with that lovely take me away cocktail. I'll be sure to send a "post" card and tell you how it's going.

"vacation?" I took over a month off from work. Only my onc, the one I fired, told me, "You shouldn't need so much time. Most people are back to work after only a week or two." And he WAS my dr! You can add him to the "stupid commenters" list.
One of these days, and it really won't seem that long when it arrives, you will be able to take a real vacation and enjoy it to the fullest. It's interesting how much more we enjoy even a simple vacation after going through all our treatments.
Best of luck to you...and don't forget to send that postcard-not now, but later when you are basking in the sun on a warm deserted island sipping on a coconut smoothie.
