My Dad took this photo himself, it was in Maine in 1945 according to my Mom who turned 90 in July. It was shortly after he came back from fighting in WWII. He was in the Signal Corps and was in the North Africa and European Campaigns. His company got a citation for protecting the Bridge at Remagen. He was at a lot of famous places right after a lot of important things happened but he was lucky in that he didn't see much action. Dad was a big camera buff, probably where I got it from. Here's one he took of my Mom where she looks all Hollywood. BTW: She tuned 90 in July.
