Getting into chat
I'm new here. I had surgery July 21 to remove a lump and some lymph nodes. Yesterday I had the followup appointment with the surgeon. She removed the drain and is pleased with my healing progress. I'll see the oncologist for the first time on the 13th of August, to discuss the chemotherapy treatment.
Although I have a strong support system in place at home, I'm finding great strength and comfort in the discussions here.
This evening I tried to get into the chatrooms, with no success. I keep getting a message that says something like "if the chatroom is not opened in 10 seconds, click on the connection below". However, I see no place to click to connect.
Is there something I need to do, that I haven't done? Do I need to download some program to make this work? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Gracie

Hi Gracie and welcome! Glad
Hi Gracie and welcome! Glad your surgery is over and that you got your drain out. And, good luck with your appt. on the 13th.
No, it isn't you or your computer. There is a problem with the chat room for all of us. Sometimes you can get in, and, sometimes you can't. All I can say is keep trying every now and then and hopefully you will get in sometime.
Good luck to you and keep posting!

You're welcome Gracie! Several have told the site about the problem. I hope they will work on it someday, but for now, just keep trying to get into it. You will eventually.

Hi and welcome. We were discussing this only yesterday morning, one of our ladies said she had to download JAVA version 14 to get in. The chat room is a mess at the moment and as often as not, nobody can get in there. I hope to see you in there really soon. Hugs Jxxxxxxx0 -

Hi Gracie and welcome! The chat room is hard to get into for all of us. Not for sure what is wrong with it, but, it isn't working most of the time. When you log on, just try and get in. You might get lucky someday and it will work.0
