Amberen - For Hot Flashes
If it doesn't interfere with the Tamoxifen I would be willing to try it.
Thanks!

I don't know but you could call your onc's office and ask. He/she needs to know what you are taking anyway. If they ok it then add it to your medication/herb list next time you go.
Thanks Marcia,
I did ask my Dr. yesterday and he wasn't familiar with this and told me to investigate it and let him know what I find out. So that's what I'm doing. What I found on it doesn't say that is has the estrogen in it, so I'm still looking. If anyone has taken this let me know.0 -

I would maybe contact the manufacturer and ask for a list of ingredients to give your Oncologist. Is this a Pharmacudical drug or herb? Your pharmacist may have access to check into it for you. CVS pharmacy will usually check anything for you as long as it is produced in the USA. -) Pammy0 -

Pammy gives good suggestions re: determining the actual ingredients. Whatever it is, and whatever's in it - be sure your med onc approves.0 -

I have no idea, but, if you asked your doctor, and, he told you to investigate it yourself, I would be shopping for a new doctor for sure!0
