Thankful
When I feel like the rest of the world couldn't possibly understand what I'm going through-you do.I can't see your faces of course, but I 'm pretty sure you all wouldn't look at me clueless when I want to rant and rave and vent!I don't know why I'm trying to share these feelings about you-words cannot express how I feel...
I'm one of those people who never wanted to get on chat rooms, never wanted to go to a support group-yet,here I am and feeling totally comfortable about it!
Thanks for all that you all are!
Love,
Patty aka O.D.Gee

I was also one of those who didn't want any part of support groups etc. ... but somehow I was "lead" to this board and have felt like family from the day I started reading the posts.
I don't know about the rest of you ... but when I start talking to someone about something I read from one of you they never quite understand what this group really is. I tell them it's sort of an on-line support group ... but it's more than that. Support groups just meet for an hour or two every few days ... but WE are ALWAYS here for each other. ALWAYS. And ... we don't just talk about cancer. We share ourselves ... our lives ... our families/friends and our inner-most feelings. We are totally honest with each other ... and do not judge. It is a family... and I too am grateful to each and every one of you for being there for me when I need words of encouragement, advice, a kick in the fanny ... or some of those terrific "virtual hugs."
You are are truly amazing and this is a truly amazing group and I'm grateful we've found each other.

Had a friend the other day ask me if I was in any support group. When I said yes I am,That the group I am in has so many survivors in it we all would not fit in one room. She asked where I had to go for this. I told her I did not have to go any where. Confused she was, then I told her about this web site, she said how much support could you possibly get on the internet. My answer to her was more than you will ever know. Thank you all.0 -
We are all thankful for each other...
Just like you, Patty - and RE, teena, and probably many others - up 'til just a few months ago, I couldn't have even imagined being part of an internet group of any kind. But, here we are - glad and grateful for it. And, for each other. :-)
Kind regards, Susan0 -

but so very thankful to have found such a caring group of people. I am sorry that we are all here for the reason that we are but am so happy to be sharing this journey with such warm and also knowledgeable people. Any question I post, I get tons of feedback and it's always good advice.

Me too!!!
I am incredibly thankful for this "support group" and everyone in it!! I believe, in one of my weakest moments, that I was led here for healing. I could never have imagined that anything like this could possibly exist. So greatful it does exist and blessed to have all of you in my life. You all are real, right???? -) Pammy0 -

That seems to be a common feeling, I know it is the way I feel. I am thankful for all of my sisters in pink. and for you outdoor girl! It was nice to hear you this morning on the conference call.

I Agree with Everyone
I am very thankful I found this site. I think my family is glad too. They don't mind that I spend time on this site. They want what works for me, helps me, makes me feel good, whatever it takes to get through this. You all make that possible. I also get a lot of info, tips, and education about the disease and treatment that helps me with my treatment. Not many people have that and I feel sorry for them, looking blank, not understanding their treatment and what's going on.

your family sounds like a great supportive family to have-that's wonderful!
Yeah,I wish everyone knew about this spot-I try to refer people to it. I know that some are afraid to get online with their feelings and their personal life(I remember that I used to be).0
