my love developed herhtle cell carcinoma with focus on anaplastic.we started treament at moffitt in fl. but found the treatment severly lacking and found our radiologist and support staff lying about the cancer.we changed to md anderson in fl. the cancer started in the throid with total thyroidectomy and 6 weeks radiation. moved to lung,resected with a confusing pathology.tumours on adrenal approx. 5.9 cm and kidney 4.1cm. attempt to treat with chemo.any advise would be helpful as i feel i failed her!

i am very sorry about your situation...
... but md anderson is one of the best places you can be. When was she daignosed? How old is your fiancee/wife/girlfriend? you say that pathalogy from the lung surgery was confusing how so? All of those factors generally help determine the prognosis and the type of treatments required? did she get any RAI (radioactive iodine) treatment or did she get external beam radiation and/or chemo?
Are they giving you any additional information at MD anderson?0
