Wig from American Cancer Society

Hi all,
I went yesterday to the American Cancer Society in my area and they gave me a free wig to use while going through chemo. They were very nice there and had many styles to choose from. I have red hair and was able to obtain one in my color and it even has highlights. They also told me to come back when I need my prothesis and bras for them because they have both there too. I had to fill out a small form but it is not based on income, it's on diagnosis. Thought maybe this service would interest someone on this board who is in need too. They also told me about a program that I can sign up for where you get a makeover with makeup they order for you and have a class on cute ways to tie scarves, etc. So should be fun. It's in September next so not sure I'll be done with chemo by then so we will see.
I see the doctor later today or tomorrow (he is going to call and ask me to meet him at his office after surgery) to get my stitches out from my biopsy and he is going to give me more information about my kind of cancer so I'll post after that appointment.
Have a great day today girls.
Love and Light,
Vicki
