Hello Again - Can anyone tell me some good foods to get my dh to eat after his surgery that will not upset his colon as much? I know there are lists out there but I prefer to get advice from those that have experienced this in hopes that they are better choices!! Thanks

Hello.
When my husband was recovering from his surgeries (and when he was undergoing chemotherapy), I had good luck preparing soups for him---especially pureed soups and lentil soups. He also enjoyed smoothies. In both cases, you can pack a good deal of nutrition into each serving, the food is easy to swallow and digest and you make it as spicy or as bland as your husband wants it to be.
