Results of untrasound.......Looks like I may have a 3 inch liver abscess, full of pus, anyone have one of these and had to have it drained, or go on antiobiotics? I have a CT scan scheduled for next Tuesday to make sure, but what else could it be!! I had a liver resection in April, but was starting to get pains around my sternum.

This is not what I wanted to hear, bummed.

    Liver abscess guru
I've had a dozen or so abscesses. They all sucked. Hopefully they will be able to go in and drain it, put you on antibiotics and that will be the end of it. You may have to keep a drain in for a while. Having a drain is much better than the alternative, which is becoming septic and possibly dying from infection. It's definitely a bump in the road but one you should overcome with time.
