My husband’s symptom was a painful hip that went on for weeks. We are fortunate that he has only been hospitalized twice.
You said his latest scan shows some improvement? What treatments has he received?
The chemo he was on that showed improvement was carbo & gemzar. It was too hard on his blood counts though because after each treatment he needed blood transfusions. They changed him over to Tarceva which wasn't a good idea. He was only on Tarceva for 30 days and it caused pulm fibrosis which is extremely rare. This is what lead to his passing I think.0 -
