No I have never had any signs of high blood pressure, only white coat syndrome. I hate all of these tests that I've had to have related to colon cancer and all of the scans. I do not want to have any more test if I'm not having any symptoms. I do not have a primary care Dr. right now just my surgeon and my oncologist. I just wondered if anyone had been told this and the Dr were wrong. Being small should be one of the things that would make a heart healthy I would think. Smaller body less stress on the heart. -

i am also tiny...4'11 and 93 pounds..no one has ever said anything to me about my heart being enlarged but at 42 right before my cancer diagnosis i did develop tachycardia that evidently was unrelated to anemia cuz i still have it even though i am no longer anemic..interesting....
I visited my primary doc in prep for cataract surgery and
he mentioned that some chemo can aggravate/damage the lining of the
heart which I had never heard before.....mine was ok....but to
reduce the worry, what about having a chat with a cardiologist?
Jut an idea.

big heart
Hi Tiny One,
I am also small, 5'1"/115-120 depending on the time of year, lol! Anyway, I have not ever been told that I have a large heart or anything like that.
BTW, congratulations on the rest of your news. The only person I know who has an enlarged heart is a friend (man) who is 6'4". He also has a fixation w/ small women too. He told me it is because it makes his you know what appear "Even bigger than it really is!" lol.
Anyway, I hope you have a great day and try not to worry about it too much. I would maybe get it checked out by a non- cancer doctor though when you get around to it.

I like my ladies petite, I was checking to see if she was in my age range, then I remembered I don't have an age range.
I'm very petite but I have a heck of a temper. I'm full blooded Italian. Actually I've gotten better at controlling the temper. All thru treatment I was mild mannered but the day I yelled and screamed at one of the boys and his stupid girlfriend I knew I was getting back to being my old feisty self. Oh My husband is a pretty good sized guy but knows when to tread lightly around me. -
