Thank you all for your kind, warming words. It is so difficult for us caregivers.. not for the burden or stress of taking care of a loved one may cause..(which is I told my Mommy all the time, please dont thank me, I do it for love and you have done so much for me this is the least i can do for you.)What makes it so so difficult is watching them suffer, going through so much and specially at the end.. it{s so hard for a daughter to have to be the shoulder to cry on when you cried on your Mothers for so long... as a baby, as a girl, as a young woman, as lady an as a Mom as well. To have to be the strong one is so difficult.

    Hi Elizabeth,
    What a wonderful tribute to your Mom, you're a wonderful daughter and brought so much joy and love to her life.

    My Mom passed away in 1984, and I still miss her very much. I talk to her picture and love to see her face smiling back at me.

    Keep the happy memories fresh in your mind, the ones before she became ill, and call on them when you get sad.
