Hello everyone,

I had my second thyroid surgery on 6/23/2009 to remove the total thyroid. From 7/1/2009 to now I have been having pains in the right side of my face. It feels like I have an earache and a toothache at the same time. Does anyone else have the same symtoms? Any suggestions?

    Have you gone thru I131
Have you gone thru I131 treatment? If so, it could be because of your parotid gland...

No I hadn't gone thru I131 treatment till this past week. I was told it was probably the muscle between my jaw and ear. I was told the breathing tubes from the surgery could have some effect on it.
