also if you google chemo scarves you will get a bunch
Some of the items are expensive but I told myself I was worth it and will have to wear them for a while. I did not wear my wig more than a couple times and it is very hot to wear one right now. Also at the local crafts store you can get bandanas for 1.79, around where I live anyway.
I would love to know the website for the pretty medical bracelet one of you has and any other helpful websites we all may benefit from.
Thanks ladies
Kim

I have a medical bracelet. I
I have a medical bracelet. I called the number for National Lymphedema Network, Inc at
1-800-541-3259. It wasn't very expensive but I can't remember what it cost. Stamped on it is 'Lymphedema Alert, No Blood Pressure, No Needles, into this arm' and it has the medical symbol on it. I wore it whenever I left the house at first but now rarely ware it.0 -

but I want the pretty one, too. I know I would never wear a typcial med'l braclet (I did before and it seems that I lost it, hmm). I would also need more than "lymphodema alert" on it. Hmm, I would need: Blood clots (Factor 5), spleenectomy, lymphodema alert, several drug alergies listed, and hip replacement hardware. Do they even make one big enough for all that? And pretty to booy?

Sounds like you need more of a charm braclet. Each charm could have a different alert on it. Plus it would look pretty. Medical alert sign on one side, instructions on other. May be costly depending if gold or silver. I looked into this and there are places that do inexpensive engraving on whatever you bring in. I even found an inexpensive charm type bracelet that just had round disc on it (silver) for $29.95 at JC Penny. Engaving was going to cost me around $45.00 more. So the whole thing would be around $75.00. Not a bad deal for such important info!! Pammy0 -

What a great idea! Let me think, that would mean I would need 5-6 charms. I will check this out this week, since I need to go into the city anyway to get AAA info for my TN trip, and I will see what JC Penney's has to offer. We also have a little jewelry store in our town, maybe they could put one together for me.
Now, that would be really special. Thanks.
