Last Drain Out
Feel like a different person. One more milestone gone.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

And to you Maryann,
I hope your week goes well, also.
Who would have thought that one could become so ecstatic over relatively small things. But, to us-bc survivors-every step towards wellness is a milestone about which we rejoice. Taking out a drainage tube is one of them. Enjoy.

Yea Maryann! I remember
Yea Maryann! I remember when they took my drain out, even though, I only had it in for one day, it looked like it was 20 FEET long and it did hurt coming out. I think my husband about fainted when he saw it, but, he kept SQUEEZING my hand. I didn't ask for the SQUEEZE, but, I think it kind of made him a bit ummmm squeamish? lol After it was out, it was such a relief. Congrats to you!0 -
SorryKristin N said:Ok, Maryann got her last
Ok, Maryann got her last drain out and now is MIA! hmmmm Perhaps retail therapy? I hope so!
Am so sorry I haven't responded to everyone. Thank you for your posts.
For some reason, even with the drain out, there is such a burning and pulling under my arm. I don't know if this is normal or not. I may have to call the surgeons office.
I only wish it was retail therapy. I also see oncologist on Saturday and that also had me shaking in my shoes. Actually, right about now I'm sick off it all.

I swear (I don't really swear) one of my drains was 6 feet long!! At least it felt like it was six feet long. It just kept coming...and the nurse used 2 hands! Glad it's all over for you MaryAnn. It did its job.
