Hello, I'm a 34 yr old mother of 3 that has just recently been diagnosed with GTD. I'm so lost and confused. Is there anyone who has had this diagnosis or knows someone with this? I have so many questions...so many that I don't know where to start! Anyone with any cancer please respond, I just need some help getting through this without losing myself.
Thanks, Courtney
Thanks, Courtney

Courtney, I am sorry to hear
Courtney, I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. This is a new one to me, but I do understand the anxiety you are feeling...all of us here do. Your best bet is to write down all your questions and take them to your oncology visit with you. A second set of ears is always helpful, as much of what your told can slip right on by. Take a deep breath try to take each day one at a time...and you will get through this. Hopefully, you will find someone here that's much more knowledgable about your diagnosis than I am. (((HUGS))) -
GTD
All forms of GTD can be treated. And in most cases the treatment produces a complete cure. which is great news http://www.cancer.org/docroot/cri/content/cri_2_4_1x_what_are_gestational_trophoblastic_disease_49.asp
this is the link I found that on and it is very detailed
good luck and hope the best for you during treatment!
