Today at work a lady came in, yes regular customer and as I was helping her take her stuff out to the car she asked me...ME! What hairdresser I used for my perm and cut! I Was so delighted I could have HUGGED HER! I got out to the car park and told her........"You have just made my day....." and told her why. She was amazed...

This is the first time I have been complimented on my hair without it having a ring of "Sympathy Vote" to it. LOL

I know Tash,
it's like when I went to visit my parents for the first time after my treatments. My hair was just coming in and one of my parent's neighbors asked me if I had gotten my hair cut that short on purpose because of the summer heat-but I didn't say anything about chemo,just shrugged my shoulders.

I was standing in line at Ross (retail therapy), and I had a woman behind me say she loved my haircut, it was short and spiky at the time, and the color, it was my shiny silver! Told her thanks with a huge smile.

I also had a woman who retired a few years before come in the office, she asked me what I did to my hair, I said "don't you like it?", she looked for a few seconds and said NO. I laughed and said you should have seen me last year, you would have really hated me bald....
then she says, Oh, is something going on with you?

Glad you got an honest compliment.
I just went back to work last week. No one there had seen me since my hair started coming back (I now have that "jar head" cut). If one more person says how much they like my hair this way I think I will scream. We all know I look like a "male" Marine.

I have only worked a couple of days and I am sick of the "sympathy" already!

Oh well enough whine for now
