I just happened to click the new under reply by accident. Thought it was a fluck so tried on the next one. I try different things on my computer at work but never dared try it on my home computer. If I clicked the wrong thing at work and the computer blew up it isn't my money that would have to buy another one.0 -

You joined 5 years before me and I can't imagine scrolling down for 5 years. Makes my hand hurt.
I'm glad this tip will help others.

I forgot--see I do have chemo brain.
Then I forgot what I was going to write and had to sit here and really think about it-well here it is.
The good thing about clicking on the new is if someone answered the thread in the middle and not at the end it will find the first new message and then you will have to scroll down for the other new ones.

Thanks Margo!
Didn't know that!0 -

Ok what does the words at the top of the threads "subscribe comments for" mean? How do you use it?
Thanks for asking that, Jadie, I always wondered what that meant but was afraid to click on it and mess up my 'puter!! Pammy0 -

When you sign up a folder is put up on your toolbar "Cancer Survivors Network" then you can click on it and the subject line appears and you can open the whole thread as well.

You are a genius. Like the others ... I've been scrolling through the "old" posts on the threads to get to the new comments. Boy was it exhausting! Some of them just seemed like I would ever get to the bottom and the new posts... but I didn't want to miss anything ... so I kept scrolling ... and scrolling ... and scrolling.
You have saved all of us so much time and energy!
Thanks for sharing your discovery!
hugs.

But I also found out that you can't Unsubscribe so I think if there are favorite threads that have informational and you want to refer back than that is the trick.
It doesn't notify you when there is a new message--wish it would.

Holey cow! Do I feel stupid!
Holey cow! Do I feel stupid! I just went and tried it and clicked on a whole mess of them to test it and didn't read the postings so now don't know where I am. Oh well. Glad you thought of this even with chemo brain. Sometimes I skip around anyway.0 -

Ok, I am lost. Where do you see the new comments at? Man, I don't have
chemo brain, but, rad brain is bad too!0 -
The topic of the thread is on the left of the page and then there is Replies when there are new ones it will have in usually blue EX. 3 new then all you have to do is click on the 3 new and it will bring you to the new replies so you don't have to scroll through the whole thread.Jeanne D said:Lost

Margo,
You have saved me so much time it's unbelievable.
And I can read everything this way. Usually if there are like 24 posts and 2 new, I'll just skip it because it's too hard to find the new ones!
Thanks!
I've been reading posts on this site for 9 years several times a day and I never knew how to shorten the reading process! Lately, there are so many posts I can't keep up. Now I know the shortcut and I am able to zip through the posts much quicker! Thanks for the info! HUGS!! Cathy0
