Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...
Her dr, jumped right on it and found that it was a bleeding ulcer. My mom will stay in the hospital one more day for monitoring and then she will be sent home with some meds. No surgery needed!
You all are awesome--thank you so much for the prayers and the positive thoughts you sent for my mom. She's on the mend already!

PS
She was delighted to wake-up to her beautiful flowers. She actually laughed and said,"I wonder how these got here." My mom loves flowers .

Always scary about your parents, especially as they get older. So glad it is something fairly manageable.

when she returns home, and has had a couple days of rest. Mom will hear about the chain of prayers and good wishes sent her way last night and about all of my wonderful friends. I'll let her know that you all say, "Hi," too. She is a pretty strong woman in body and mind (a wee bit stubborn, too), and I love her dearly. I know the day will come when I will have say goodbye to her and I really don't know how I will deal with it. I am so grateful that her illness is one that is fairly easily cured with meds and bed rest. Thank you, everyone.

Glad to hear your Mom is doing fine. And I'm happy it was something relatively easy to deal with.
