RIDDLE: 75% can be written as 3/4. How would 58 1/3% be written as a fraction (when reduced to the lowest denominator)?

    Isn't 1/3 66 1/3% or am I reading this wrong?

    DUH? I meant that it should be 33 1/3

    That's just it...
    There is no common denominator, even if you get into decimals. It would be expressed as 59/3 over 100. Yes?

    Set 58 1/3% to 3(58 1/3) / 3(100), which is (3(58)+1) / 300, or 175 / 300, or 7(25) / 12(25), or 7 / 12.
