How to Fight Cancer & Win by William L. Fischer is a good book too! It is for the successful treatment and prevention of cancer and other related health problems. Some of the ideas are great. The main one I can't use is the Linseed oil. That isn't for ER PR +!

Hugs, Lex

Maybe we should start B.O.D.S. ...
Books of Daft Sods, members and non-members welcome, to suggest ideas for a summer reading list. I read every night before calling it day, and I'm always open to book suggestions.

Sounds like a good book, I would like to find some alternatives to what I have been prescribed and maybe this book could offer my med'l team some options. I go in for a 6 mo visit in July and I could get a copy of the book prior to my visit. My oncologist is pretty open to trying anything-even natural rememdies.

    Thanks.

It's great to share resources on the board...
    Thank you.

On behalf of newcomers who may not know - each member can also submit resource recommendations (and not just books) on their own "About Me" homepage. Submissions there will be approved by the ACS/CSN, and then reappear. Also - and importantly - those resources then become available to ALL members of the CSN - no matter what board they're from nor what type of cancer, via the "Member Resource library"... (See the brown box in the upper left hand corner of your screen.)

Just a thought, in consideration of our fellow cancer survivors beyond the BC group.

    Kind regards, Susan

    Excellent suggestion
Susan, that is an excellent suggestion. I'll try to figure out to access that resource.

    Thanks Alexis!
I have been reading that book Alexis, and, it is interesting. A lot of it doesn't apply to me either, since I am also ER PR postive. Thanks for this though!

I am reading that book Alexis. Thanks for letting us know about it! We need to educate ourselves as much as we can, and, we also need to laugh!
