Comforting News

Hi, I had fluid drained off my lungs yesterday and it wasn't a big deal at all, just a little discomfort. Saw my gyn/onc today and found out the fluid contained cancer cells, which was not unexpected. I feel so much better after talking to him, just knowing what is happening. Also, he gave me hope that I can go into remission again and can get through another round of chemo with few side effects. I will begin chemo next Tuesday, carboplatin/taxotere, same as last time. I am saying prayers of thanks that I got the best possible news I could get since the cancer is back. God is good! Love and prayers, Karen

Hi Karen,
I wish you the best of luck with your repeat chemo, your upbeat attitude will definitely be a plus to your beating this relapse of your cancer once again.
Take care of yourself,
Jane
Karen, your positive attitude will go a long way in helping you with this. I know how hard it is to remain upbeat when you just want to scream. It sounds like you have a good supportive doctor also, so that helps. You can beat the beast back again, I know it. Hugs, Cindy0 -
Prayers coming your way
That's the attitude. And you already know how to handle any side effects from the chemo you are experienced with. Now, we will ALL be praying that these two chemos do a knock out job on the cancer cells for you, Karen. ((((HUGS and PRAYERS)))) Saundra0
