Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, I am back to ask a question for my dad. He is a colorectal and bladder cancer survivor, but the beast seems to have reared its ugly head again.

He just had a PET/CT and the findings were this:
Mural thickening in the hepatic flexure ( ascending colon area ).
The ascending colon is collapsed.
Diffuse mural thickening of the bladder.

Has anyone dealt with a collapsed colon in this area? Was there a treatment available?

Dad is 83. He'll be talking with the oncologist tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone had experience with this issue.

Thanks so much. I hate this disease so freakin much!!!!

Barb

    Collapsed Colon
    Barb,

Doesn't that just suck! I'm so sorry and I wish I knew a single thing to help you. I don't. I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and praying for your family. Please update us with info when you have it. I'm curious as to the treatment for a collapsed colon.

    Good Luck,
