This was my first appt. since finishing my radiation. At my appt. I saw my oncologist and radiologist. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they both asked questions and said that they would see me in 4 months for an exam and a PET/CT scan. My doctor wants me to have a PET scan and maybe I misunderstood him, but do you get both a PET scan and a CT scan or one or the other? They both seemed to think that the radiation treatment worked. I will now have to wait until October for more tests. I am thankful for everyday and know that God has a plan for all of us.

I had this in 2006. My chemo oncologist set it up. It showed no cancer but did show a growth on my left kidney which remains stable. It made me feel confident, but apparently one or more nasty little cells managed to hide, because I had recurrance in 2008. Mary Ann on San Francisco By

Hi Mary Ann, I have a question for you. Did you have any soreness in your chest area or any discomfort with wearing your bra. I have definitely some symptoms in that area. I keep worring that the chemo is not working, but then I have only had two treatments. The next one is this Friday. Hope all is going well for you.
