Good Morning all! I am heading to new Jersey this weekend to give the Survivor Speech at a Relay for Life event. I have never been to one of these events and was wondering if anyone has experienced listening to the Survivor speech? I have my speech pretty much written but want to make sure I'm on the right track. I am soooo nervous. Thanks!

    You will be fantastic!
I have heard several survivor speeches at Relay for Life events. I am sure you are on the right track, all you have to do is speak from your heart. To be nervous is normal I think, but you will be surprised how easy it is once you begin to speak. Anticipation is always the worst! Good luck! I admire your strength. Margaret

What an honor to be asked to speak. Any survivor speech would be on the right track. Just being a survivor will give others hope. Good luck with you speech.

    Irishohiogirl's speech
Can you say something about how your speech went, how it was received and what you talked about. I am very glad that you are healthy and well and in a postion to give such a talk.

I did a search to see if you had said anything after the talk but didn't find anything more recent than the 16th.

    Love,

    Claudia
