I am scheduled for a mammogram on the 26th and then the surgeon on the 30th. I hadn't thought of what questions to ask or even at what point to ask them. Are there any questions I should ask at the mammogram? More important, what do ask the surgeon... I mean he should have the results of the mammo - right? What will he know just by seeing it?

    I don't think the mammmogram
I don't think the mammmogram tech is allowed to really tell you anything. If you are seeing the doctor after then she should be able to tell if there is anyhing wrong on the mammogram. When I had 3 spots on mine they then gave me an ultrasound to see better and then biopsied them lumps after that. Lucky for me they were not busy (day after Christmas) and they did it all in one day. Not sure what other questions could be answered. Good Luck! Let us know how you make out.

    My oncologist ordered not
My oncologist ordered not only a mammogam, but, an ultrasound and a MRI. And, if something is found, they will do a biopsy to see if it is cancer. And, no tech should tell you anything. Anything should come from your doctor.
