Wanted to let everyone know, I have my surgery yesterday and went home today. Everything went well. Had the right side mastecomy.

A day prior to this, I went for a Nuclear Medicine scan of the lymph nodes. Would highly recommend this. Finds the placement of the sentinel to the lymph nodes.

Want to thank everyone for their support and guidance.

    It is so good to hear that your surgery went well. My treatment was 5 yrs ago and they have changed the way they do the lymph node scan. Sounds more through.

    Ditto on everything said thus far...it's great to see you online so soon after surgery. It's amazing, isn't it, that we are sent home the day after surgery? The miracles of modern medicine...here's to wishing you the miracle of wellness to come your way soon.
