I would like to have a relay for life on horseback but I am not sure how to start it or get funding to start it up.I own a horse and she is what kept me going through this.I would go outside to see her even on my worst days and she would put her head on my shoulder and rub it with her nose,She was telling me I would make it through this.what I would like to do is have a 3-Day ride on horseback you can cover more miles than walking so hopefully we can raise more money to find a cure for breast cancer and all cancers. If any one has any ideas on how I can get this started I would be great-full for any input Thank you Carolblue2

That sounds like an amazing
That sounds like an amazing idea.. .I would participate however, I don't own a horse.. have always wanted to though. I would start by speaking with the coordinator for Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. I am sure they would be able to help you..
Again .. GREAT IDEA0 -
Awesome Idea!
The Relay for Life events are sponsored by the American Cancer Society. So, my suggestion would be to contact them first.
Good luck to you!

Great idea! Contact themimivac said:horseback riding
I think that's a great idea, Carol. That would probably do well in areas with lots of open land where people regularly keep horses. I wish I could participate. Maybe the American Cancer Society can steer you in the right direction.
