late term post chemo pain

deb are you....
on any post-cancer preventative medication....such as tamoxifen perhaps?
Some women report joint pain while on these drugs. And they are known for causing or adding to the issues of arthritis and osteoperosis.
I was on tamoxifen for 7 years and had no terribly adverse symptoms at the time but did develop hip and back pain later which proved to be both osteo and arthritis.
It's just a good idea to get your bone health checked out. -

I am not on any medication. My tumor was not estrogen related. Had bone scan
which was negative. -

that you put your mind at rest about your bones anyhow.
You might check next about your feet. I have this weird 'missing bone' in both my feet...just a tiny thing but it messes up my stance something awful. My ankles turn in.
Anyhow, some little thing wrong with your feet, which can develop at any time in life, sure can mess up the hips and spine and legs. Whew! -
late term post chemo bone pain
hi Deb
it will be 4 yrs in Sept that I finished chemo and about 5 weeks ago I woke up with severe pain in my hips pelvis and coccyx.I have had xrays and bone scan and no one can find a thing wrong. I do believe this a late affect post chemo affect and when I go to see my pain clinic nurse will ask her about as I seem to get the most honest answers from her,
