Can anyone talk about experience with Intra-peritoneal Chemotherapy?

I'm getting my father ready to go through intra-peritoneal chemotherapy.....has anyone been through this? Is there any information available with respect to the length of the treatment, side affects, other pertinent facts? Many thanks....this board has been a tremendous source of encouragement and information.
