Fluid on lungs

Hello,
I believe I read a post sometime ago about fluid on the lungs. Is this something that can happen with ovarian cancer? I just had a chest x-ray to try and find why I have a recurring pain on my right side and a hazy area showed up. I have to have a CT scan of the chest now, and one of the possibilities the radiologist listed was fluid. Thanks, Karen

    Hi Saundra,

Thanks for the info. I did find a lot of posts to review. I've had the CT scan and the result showed that there is fluid on my right lung. My family doctor sent the results to my gyn/onc and one of them will call me Monday or Tuesday. I don't know if this will change the plans to put off chemo for a while or not. I am so discouraged; I thought I could forget cancer (as much as possible) until late July. And here I am again wondering what is going on. I understand from the nurse who called me with the results that the radiologist has suggested more tests. This awful disease sure has a way of taking control of our lives! I wish all the best for you. Prayers, Karen
