10 year old Hannah - update

I heard Friday that they are going to have a "Hat Party" for Hannah on Monday. Everyone shows up with a hat to give her. She is starting chemo and they want to do this before she starts losing her hair. They did say she had some breast tissue, yes at 10 years old, and it had been removed. She seems to be in pretty good spirits, and she has an awesome group of people around her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through this journey.

    Thanks for the update!
    8 pm rolls around, after a full day of packing and moving, I'm zoned out on the couch for the TV news...ROFL! One more week till 'M' day (movers come)....and then, I'll have my daughter with me in the same town!!!

    Thanks for the update, Cat...
    Very sweet of you to keep us informed on young Hannah's behalf. Her story is almost unbelievable; yet, her young spirit and attitude are both inspiring.

    The "Hat Party" is an awesome concept for any patient on the brink of chemo. I didn't have a so-called party; but, lotsa folks gave me hats as gifts!

    I will also keep Hannah in my prayers.

    My younger daughter, Xiaoxiao, is 10-yrs-old and just starting to get little breast swellings. I can't even begin to imagine how sad this must be for her mother, so I will be praying for her, too.
