Tamoxifen, Female ?

Ladies, I am so glad you are here to answer this ?

One of the "possible" side effects listed for tamoxifen is "vaginal discharge".
First of all...of those of you taking this drug, do you have this side effect?
And if so...do you mind if i ask, what do they mean exactly by "discharge"? Is it like having a non stop yeast infection? Foul odor? Thank you for answering this private ?

I took Tamoxifen for 2 years, before being switched to Arimidex (still taking). I had no side effects from the Tamoxifen, so can't speak directly to your question.

I take tamoxifen and I do have the heavy discharge. It is not like a yeast infection, thank God. It is a clear, no odor discharge that is sometimes inconvenient but not a problem. I always had a heavy discharge until I went through menopause, now it's back.

Tamoxifen
I was on Tamoxifen for 5 years and I,too, had a discharge but not heavy. It was odorless but enough that I was self conscious and wore a pad and disposed of it frequently. Once I was off Tamoxifen, the discharge was gone. HUGS!! Cathy
