Because there have been several post's on Lymphedema recently I have decided to repost this information. My oncologist gave me this information when I was first dx with bc. Hope you all find it helpful.

    I don't have it, but I am always aware of the possibility. Thanks for posting this article. I did not know ways to help prevent lymphedema.

    Hope you are doing well as I know you as well as Jackie have suffered this.

    Thanks for reposting RE. Thanks for the website Lemont. I just went to see a lymphodema therapist so I'm not quite so freaked out about the possibilities.

    Thanks RE for reposting this information. I just saw my rad onc today and she said I need to see a therapist again because my shoulder is tight. I never thought of that as being a sign of lymphadema because it is not swollen but she said it could be the beginning.

    So everyone know that even stiffness anywhere in the arm even without swelling could be the beginning and should be brought to your doc's attention.
