doesn't it seem to you that
doesn't it seem to you that everywhere you go or on television there is something about CANCER. i am sure that there are no more ads or programs, etc. on than before but because i had never had cancer i paid no attention to them. people say the strangest things to us survivors, don't they. i hope you continue to do well. love, peggy0 -

You guys are the best team and provide the best coaches!! Like when I was pregnant or got a new car it does seem that when you look around it's all we see...pink ribbons, etc. I'm kind of afraid that with bathing suit season around the corner will I be looking at women's breasts wondering real, fake, mastectomy, implants, reconstructed....?0 -
May, in general, is a paricularly intense PINK RIBBON month
Yep, May and October. October is actually National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, since there are so many BC-related events - the various organizations couldn't fit them all into one month. So, May became the "secondary" month for BC awareness because of Mother's Day.
So, we are surrounded with pink ribbons this month! I, for one, kinda like it! :-)
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Dawn, good for you for stepping up to the plate (sorry, couldn't resist). You are a Survivor and a wonderful representative for us all.
Yes, you ARE funny! Your post above is a perfect example!
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Ok you can all laugh but it took me two or three times reading "save second base" to realize what it meant.

Good come back Dawn, some
Good come back Dawn, some people need to be put in their place. I like the word surviving. It feels like that's exactly what I'm doing. Thanks
