Thanks!
My husband bought me a bunch of cancer-related apparel. The CHEMOsabe shirt's by far my favorite another says "Hey Cancer, F**k You!" I don't feel very comfortable wearing that one outside of the house, though. He also bought me a hoody that says "Cancer, you messed with the wrong b*tch!"
He's so great!
Hugs and prayers,

Seena
Hi Seena. Sorry so many people are being mean about your posting. Since you are new here you probably didn't know people don't usually use this for a dating site. I sent you a message to your e-mail, go to top of page, home, communicate, e-mail, there's some tips there about a pretty good, free dating site. I know a lot of the people posting on this site are really good hearted and caring people, but a lot are in relationships, have family, husbands, kids, that are there. I know what it means to be going through this alone. If you need to talk about your cancer, have any questions or just need to talk with others who have colon CA please start another thread and I know you will be supported here.

I'm sorry if offended anyone.rmcgraw said:Maybe
we took this the wrong way. Maybe Seena would like someone in the same boat she is in and living in the same area to connect with. You know it is easy to get on these boards and chat about our lives, our surgeries, our ups and downs but most of us have family and friends to give us that one on one support we all need and crave. Maybe she doesn't have anyone else to give hugs or to offer up that shoulder to lean on. Granted, I think she should have gone about the wording differently but...maybe
I am a cancer patient living alone, and it would be very nice to have a partner to share and understand my life and vice versa.
You're right, rmcgraw, I don't have the hugs or the shoulder to lean on. Thanks for your understanding.
I meant no harm.0 -

Hi Seena -
Although it is not the same as support and companionship in real life, I hope that you can find some of that on this board. Please don't let the misintrepretation of your original post scare you away. Folks on this board really do want to be helpful and supportive. Your first post was unusual and a little too short for people to understand where you were coming from. I am sure that no one is deeply offended, just originally disconcerted and, in the long run, sympathetic.0 -

I was one that found your post a little strange but it's understandable when you're dealing with cancer alone. I'm not exactly what you said you were looking for in your post, I'm a 53 yr old married woman, who had cancer. I'm not sure where in NY you live, but I also live in NY, and if you need someone to talk with maybe I can be of some help. If you want you can send me a private email and just maybe we can talk.
Take care, Wendy0 -
