I posted NEW pics on my expression page of the Relay For Life and of my LAST radiation treatment!
This was after my last radiation treatment, # 37! This is one of the wonderful radiation tech's with me. I just loved them all! Look at the THICK radiation room door on the left. It looked like it was a foot thick of concrete. lol

Amazing
Jeanne, thanks for posting your photos. You look great. I love your hair. What a wonderful day, finishing 37 radiation treatments.
You must be so proud of your dream team. How wonderful to have so many people joining together to walk and raise money in your honor. Someone on the board said that you do learn who your friends are when you get a cancer diagnosis; it is easy to see that your life is filled with people who not only care about you but are committed to supporting you and fighting with you against the beast. My thanks to you and to your incredible team.0 -

Thank you! Thank you also for walking the Relay For Life! The picture of you was beautiful! Yes, you do learn who your real friends are and who in your family really cares. This is my 2nd time with breast cancer, so, it is different. It really makes you think about your own survival, your own mortality, and, who cares about you. I have truly been amazed by my friends...truly amazed. Thanks Moopy! We will survive this! love, jeanne0 -

What a creative group of
What a creative group of family and friends you have. I can look at you and just see the strength and determination that you have, my b/c sister.(That is besides the obvious beauty you have). I draw strength from my sisters here and I'm grateful for yours. May you now continue to heal and re-energize, just like that pink bunny. You know, I think they made HER pink for a reason!LOL
Love and gentle hugs,

Thanks for posting these Jeanne. You look so happy on your LAST day of radiation. Whoo Hoo! Now on with an energetic and full life.

I was happy! I just wish I hadn't of burnt worse after the treatments were done! Thank goodness they are getting better now, but, not healed up yet. I am glad that you are doing so well with yours. I hope that you get along great and don't burn at all! I wish noone ever had to go thru radiation. I wonder who invented this for cancer..I need to look that up. It seems so barbaric..doesn't it?0 -

Some day, within the next several years, I have absolute faith that...
Many of today's cancer treatments WILL, indeed, seem barbaric. My own med onc told me so, almost six years ago. And, he's very involved with on-going research, not just aware of it. Too late for us; but, much better for those that will follow - thank goodness!
When that times comes, we will wear our princess warrior battle scars even more proudly! :-)
Kind regards, Susan0
