What a lovely Pic. You just look sooooo healthy! Good for you. She looks like a real caring person, I also had GREAT techs for rads and got really friendly with them all, I was even going to take in a bottle of Champers on my last day.........they DID remind me when I didn't..........LOL
Great Pic.

You look great Jeanne. I hope my tech's are as sweet as yours must have been. I am glad it is over for you.0 -
Genie - Thanks for sharing!Jeanne D said:My last day of RADIATION! YEAAAAAAAAAA!
This pic was taken on the last day of my 37 radiation treatments. That is Liz with me, one of the young radiation tech's that I just fell in love with. She cried my last day with me. I became very close to all of the tech's. Notice how thick the radiation room door to the left is? I think it was about a foot thick..it looked like concrete. lol I guess they wanted some good protection from the radiation. lol But, they left me in there..waaaaaa LOL
So glad you had such nice & caring folks tending to you during rads! Yeah, you look great!
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Congrats. on your completion. I have four more weeks to go. But we just have to keep our heads up. Again congrats. on your completion.
Hi. I'm in the same place as you - about four weeks to go. No side effects yet except for a slight rash. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude, though this isn't consistently so easy. Good luck with your treatment.0 -

I try..lol And, speaking of pretty, what a beautiful family you have. I assume that is your family in your pic, or, did you kidnap someone else's family..just for gp. (gp means general purpose for those that may not know..like tasha lol ) Good luck with rads on wednesday!0 -

Yep, healed and getting back to "normal" whatever that is. I have finally gotten to the point that if I take an afternoon nap, I have problems sleeping at night. This is probably one of the few places in the world where people understand why I consider that a good thing. ;-)
If your skin is open from the burn, get some silvadene. Its really good stuff!
Maureen
Is the silvadene a prescription? I have several places that are open from the burn. Only 2 more regular treatments and then 5 booster treatments left. I don't know if my poor breast can take any more.0
