NED...Happy Dance
NED, Happy Dance time, scan looked good. We still have to keep a good eye on on a
abdominal infarenal anuresym that he has about 3.9cm but they said it looks stable.
We are both so happy about the scan. Thank you all for your support.
Diagnosed 1/5/06 Stage IV Colorectal Cancer, Met to Liver
1/06-6/06/ Chemo with Avastin,Oxiliplatin,5Fu
7/06, Complete Lower Resection with Rectum Removal and Liver Resection
Surgery followed up with radiation and Xeloda, followed up with Irinotecan Chemo
Today..NED
For all of you newbies and caregivers, never give up hope. Were going to Disneyworld
as a celebration ist week of June.

That is such wonderful news. It is so great to see that he has gotten such great news from the scans. It sounds like he has been through so much but has faired well from it. You certainly deserve to both do the happy dance - naked if you want. Yipeeee!

Such great news! I'm very happy for you! I will never give up hope after hearing wonderful survival stories like yours, even though I get scared alot at times, I do think about you all here and get the fight put back in me

Wow great news
This is great news for me to hear. My husband was DX last November and had six inches of his colon removed. He started chemo with Avastin, Oxlplatin, 5-FU. He will had #5 treatment this Wednesday. He had liver mets ( extensive they say) and a little in both lungs ( like sand) and a small spot on his adrenial glad. Hearing news like this gives me hope. I really need it somedays. What wonderful news! This is the second NED posting I've seen in the past day or two with a stage IV patient. As a stage IVer myself, this definitely gives me so much hope in my own situation. I've done well, but can't claim NED status YET...!
