    No, most certainly not...
J - You are NOT "thick"! You are a horticultural genius, a talented wordsmith, and a successful fish breeder.

RE is simply MAGIC. We mere humans, no matter how wonderful, cannot compare ourselves with MAGIC.

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: That Claudia, another MAGIC woman.

Do you believe in Magic, In a young girls heart
I willingly give the Magic Crown to RE....I am not Magic, nor do I possess it ( I only wish I had it for ALL of us). I am just , after having been tapped on the shoulder by mortality, and after having spent 27 years ("BR" or Before Reggie) living a very sheltered, regimented life, now pretending that I am 30 years younger, and not looking back! I am not fearless, quite the contrary, I am filled with insecurities and doubt. BUT...I also know that I have less time now than I did 30 years ago, so as long as I am a Survivor, and have the energy and will do do something positive, I am doing it!!!! And aside from my sweet Reggie~ it is all of you who give me confidence and courage. Thank you very much!!! I love you, Kindred Spirits!!!!

    Hugs,
    Claudia

PS...if you are of a "certain age", you will recognize the words of the Do you Believe In Magic song... LOL

Oh yeah Fleetwood Mac performed! And the 2 best parts? Stevie's dad was still alive, and traveling with her to each concert so she dedicated songs to him , AND~ being as the Saturday performance ended their world tour, they asked management if they would like it if they also performed the next day~ Hell Yeah! So I saw them back to back.....sigh !

OMG...No I am NOT surprised about Cat Stevens...He was my favorite! I remember " back
in the day" ( the 70's???) wearing a T-shirt with his beautiful face on it, and a b/f being mad at me about something, and telling me..."GRRRR~ even Cat Steven's wouldn't like you right now'!!!!! hahahahaha....

    Boise's Susan Komen is Saturday
Claudia, I am going to be a copy cat as I walk the 5k in Boise on Saturday with my sisters here. Our little local school district has a team of 43 of us. You're 10 times taller than me, so it may take me a bit longer to walk it, though. Your name will be in my heart as well. Lynn

    Claudia, It was fun looking
Claudia, It was fun looking down all the posts to you. Re - are you getting your drains out after they put in the softies? Wow. I am still getting fills, or maybe, at 10 cc's, drips. Anyway, Chennie, if you run out of mantras AND have the energy (of course you will) I'll take a chorus of Happy Birthday while you walk. 51 years old for me that day. Love to spend it with you in karmaville.
As far as Cat Stevens goes, didn't he have a song something like:
I'm being followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow
And if I ever loose my breast
    I won't moan and I won't kvetch (oh yeah?)
And if I ever loose my hair
Away, I won't have to comb no more.
    love Joyce (combin' and kvetchin'!)

    YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND
First please I defer my "Magic Crown" to all of you as each of you is special and dear to me. Second I could not just post a bit of this song as in its whole it speaks to all of us. Love you all! Now for a bit of James Taylor.

    When you're down and troubled
And you need a helping hand
And nothing, whoa nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest nights.

    Chorus
You just call out my name,
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running, oh yeah baby
    To see you again.

    Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
    You've got a friend.

    If the sky above you
Should turn dark and full of clouds
And that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together and call my name out loud
And soon I will be knocking upon your door.

    Chorus
You just call out my name
And you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
    Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you got to do is call
And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend?
    People can be so cold.
They'll hurt you and desert you.
Well they'll take your soul if you let them.
Oh yeah, but don't you let them.

    Chorus
You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again.

Oh babe, don't you know that,
    Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
Hey now, all you've got to do is call.
Lord, I'll be there, yes I will.
    You've got a friend.
    You've got a friend.
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend.

chenheart your posts always provide a lovin' spoonful

The Lovin' Spoonful - Do You Believe in Magic Lyrics

Send “Do You Believe in Magic” Ringtone to Your Cell

Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart
How the music can free her, whenever it starts
And it's magic, if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie
I'll tell you about the magic, and it'll free your soul
But it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock and roll

If you believe in magic don't bother to choose
If it's jug band music or rhythm and blues
Just go and listen it'll start with a smile
It won't wipe off your face no matter how hard you try
Your feet start tapping and you can't seem to find
How you got there, so just blow your mind

If you believe in magic, come along with me
We'll dance until morning 'til there's just you and me
And maybe, if the music is right
I'll meet you tomorrow, sort of late at night
And we'll go dancing, baby, then you'll see
How the magic's in the music and the music's in me

Yeah, do you believe in magic
Yeah, believe in the magic of a young girl's soul
Believe in the magic of rock and roll
Believe in the magic that can set you free
    Ohh, talking 'bout magic

Do you believe like I believe Do you believe in magic
Do you believe like I believe Do you believe, believer
Do you believe like I believe Do you believe in magic

Ok, I promise that I will chant Jean-knee along with Mar-sha, etc etc etc...I hope I don't get too overwhelmed trying to remember just how to prounounce all of your names !! If I do, I'll just start chanting "BC Boards, CSN, BC Boards, CSN" I don't think I have time to alphbetize your names by Saturday! Oh No~ my OCD is showing!

    Welcome Back!
Is it any wonder why we missed you???? LOL LOL LOL Thanks for the parody!

Congrats on everything you have accomplished since last we met on these boards. I am not at all surprised, and I know that none of us is. You inspire us! Thanks for checking back in with us~ now quit dawdling and get back to class! :-)
