Prior to my being diagnosed with RCC in 2003, I was diagnosed with
idiopathic polycythemia vera(my blood was like sludge) My erythropoietin
was normal. My primary tumor made a similar protein that functioned in the same manner
but was not close enough to be picked up on the assay. I was wondering if anyone else
had this occur?
