The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Thank you for being a part of the Cancer Survivor Network community. Survivors and caregivers like you have played a unique role in fostering an online environment that encourages connection among those needing support, community, and education. On May 28, the Network will be discontinued. More details are available here . If you have any questions, contact CSNSupportTeam@cancer.org. Thanks again for the support you’ve provided each other over the years. We remain committed to supporting you in other ways throughout your cancer journey.
Diagnosed 1/09, robotic surgery 3/09, awaiting first PSA. A 60+ sailor sorta new at this

I was diagnosed in January: PSA 4+, Gleason 7 (3+4), staging T2c. I had robotic surgery at City of Hope (Dr. Kawachi) in March, and am awaiting my first post-surgery PSA next week. I've written up my story, and my wife's, including all the research we did along the way (lots of links). It's rather long a long thing, and wouldn't be appropriate as a posting here. You can find the writeup at http://www.sv-moira.com (scroll down about half way to the "Prostate Cancer" page). Any followup reports on my condition will go to that web page.
It's probably best if you respond here. We're in the States at the moment, but we're usually without WWW access (we live on a sailboat in Central America). When we're back in port I'll try to catch up with any responses.
All the best to everyone.
