Web Tutorial #1: Posting Pictures
you will get this result:
You have to make sure that the picture you want to post is already on the Internet, because you have to give its full URL - in this case, http://cicero.missouristate.edu/images/MoopUnk.jpg is the full URL.
Ideally, the picture should be no more than about 500-600 pixels wide if you want to display it on this board. But if you've got something so great you want to share, go right ahead. After all, it's only electrons on a screen!
Post any questions you have and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

The picture will have to be uploaded to a website first. PM me and I will tell you about how to do this.

Just wanted to hijak this thread to say that you and Moopy are the sweetest. What a nice picture. Moopy is very beautiful, as we all knew.
I love that picture of the Moopster, but she herself hates it. She complains that she's squinting in the picture. "So what," I ask her. "You mean you can't be beautiful when you're squinting?" The woman is vain, I tell you... but I wouldn't want her any other way.0 -

When we were dating, Moopy and I used to play miniature golf a lot. We made up names for ourselves, and hers was "Moovis." She picked that name for herself in honor of my native home in America's Dairyland. Over the years it became "Moopy," "Foopy," "Xoopy," and hundreds of other variations too sickeningly cute to share with the innocent people here.
One of the pitfalls of being named Joe is that I've always liked to make up names for myself. Since I was a kid, I have been fascinated with the sound of the word "aorta," so I started referring to myself as "Aortus" or "Aorty." Not many guys around with that handle!0 -

Moopy bears a resemblance to the actress Téa Leoni, a real beauty.0 -

Mimi, you are a true and loyal friend. For you, I will overlook my husband's stubbornness. I would say you are lucky that Simon doesn't post here, but you are lovely and would look so even if you were squinting into the sun.0 -

I don't know about gorgeous, but I am very lucky to have such supportive friends. You all make me feel good. As for turquoise, no one can compare to our girl Julia.0 -

Hi Joe and Moopy, I love your picture, you both look so happy together. I am not to good on the computer. I can't change my picture that shows upwith my name here on the site I had to get my daughter to do it. Do much effort for to change it, I have been pestering her for a while now. I don't get how to put the picture on the internet first. I guess I could use a turn with that dunce hat LOL. Nancy0 -

Be sure and tell my vain little Moopster that she is gorgeous even when she is squinting into the sun!
Since we've been beating you up about the furniture thing, I'll jump right in here, per your request...
Hey, MOOPY - You are pretty, my dear, even while squinting! I mean this. Not just saying so because Joe asked me to. Remember - I'm on YOUR side. (Sorry, Joe. You know we love ya, too!)
Kind regards, Susan0 -

This post is so brilliant, I could have written it myself!
Your post IS brilliant! And, obviously, VERY well written. Because so many members have successfully learned to embellish their posts with amusing or simply pretty visuals, which are so thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Thank you, Joe.
You get an A+ from me.
Kind regards, Susan
P.S.: And, very well worth the "bump" - on behalf of several new members recently...0
