I Hope all of you have a great day. I am posting an update and a request. At my last 3 month check up,I got a great report. My gyne-onc at Loyola felt nothing and my CA-125 was 8.59. It has been 9 months since I completed peritoneal chemo. Praise to the good lord above. I am sending prayers for all of you everyday.
A friend I met in chemo isn't having a very easy time of her 2nd go round with this disease. She is on Gemzar and in an Avastin trial. She is having a rough time keeping her counts up enough to have the treatment. She also was IIIB and completed peritoneal. Any extra prayers for Kathy would be so appreciated.
I know I am asking alot, but I had another round of news at work this week and need another prayer. A fellow nurse has a 16 year old daughter who has had a cold for a month. Thursday, after a marrow biopsy and spinal tap, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. AML. I am so sad for the family, but I know that faith and prayers create miracles. Please add Cassidy to the list of names you send to god. I will be so grateful.
Many hugs to all of you
