You are not alone
Dear Nickysmom, I don't know anything about your situation but I do know what it's like to wake up in the middle of the night and wonder why this is happening. Why must my 25-year-old sister have cancer? We only got this diagnosis a week ago and I've already forgotten what it's like not to think about this. It just doesn't seem fair and yes, sometimes I want to yell at the world.
I don't know if this helps or not, but you are NOT alone in your emotions. All the best to you.0 -

It is very typical to have those feelings. We all have it at some time or another! The good thing about them is that when we have great days we do cherish them a lot more than the bad ones. We also have learned to be more relaxed and enjoy life. So is it ok to some days want the world to put up a closed sign? Heck yes!! We will never know why we were all chosen to go through what we are either as the cancer survivor or caregivers-but I think that the biggest thing is remembering how good life is even when it seems bad. Sometimes for me the best days are sitting at home by myself resting--taking care of me. Dont be afraid to take the time for yourself and be very very selfish. You deserve it.0 -

That is a great response.. I need that from others..sometimes I feel like I dont get enough done and I guess it's because I dont know how much time I have left? so I hurry and do to much, LOL.. (Get no where really) but I just try to feel useful. and with terminal cancer and now being a caregiver I get that good feeling. I dont know if this all makes since but I am trying .. But thanks.0 -

Dont live thinking about how much time you have left, live thinking of what you are going to accomplish.0
