which is the You Are Not Alone Now web site, and it appears that if you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, several factors need to be taken into account, but if your G<=6 you may not need treatment. Your PSA must be steady, and your positive biopsy cores should be low, like 1 or 2.
If you are in this range, ask your doctor:
HOW MANY MEN DOES HE KNOW THAT HAVE DIED FROM PROSTATE CANCER IF LEFT UNTREATED?
Being diagnosed with prostate cancer is difficult to deal with, and every man is different, but if there is any possibility that you do not need treatment, why take the chance.
