I agree! let's keep fighting people, we're all going to beat the crap out of this beast, this is my 2nd treatment in just a few hours, I been depressed all morning, and I be darned I get like that everytime I have to go..more positivity, and knowing that this chemo is mostly here to help us, not hurt us, even though the side effects suck, we're all in this together.
Good luck with your meeting johnny, we're all here for you, you can do this! don't be scared! I know I'm one to talk, but heck, that's what the beast wants..for us to be scared..let's not give in! One for all, and all for one!
Hugssss!

Good attitude
That's the spirit. It isn't what we wanted, but you gotta play the hand you're dealt. I am finishing up treatment #1 today. So far it has been good. No side effects. BUT I know this is just the first one and I'm sure it has some surprises in store for me. No matter because we can get thru anything if we have to. I have the support of family and lots of friends, plus I have discovered this site where I can talk to people who are going thru the same thing. That really helps. Friends and family are great, but unless they have gone thru it, they really can't totally understand. I will be praying for you, that it goes well and soon YOU WILL BE NED.

Donna, I am thinking about you today as you go for treatment #2. I'm praying that they will be able to give you something that will neep nausea away. I am getting unhooked today at 12:30 from my first treatment. It has been good so far. No side effects. We will see what #2 does in a couple of weeks. You are right in saying thatit wants us to be scared. We have to be stronger than that. I have my moments where it almost overwhelms me, But thankfully I remember that I can give it to God, and I don't have to worry about it anymore. He is in control.
Bless You, Carletta0 -
Forge on!
Hi Mike,
That's the spirit! The prospect of the treatment made me want to stomp my feet and whine, "Nooooo!!!! I don't want to go!!!!" But then I always turned it around and decided that this treatment meant one less down the road. I am currently NED. Kick the beast's butt!!!!
Hugs,

Mike and Donna,
I am saying a prayer for you right now. I pray that the chemo attacks any of the beast that may be in your body right now. Hope the nausea is better than before.
Aloha,

You go get 'em! I see the onc next week and we start the plan for my next round. I will have 4 rounds of 5FU and leucevorin(sp?), 5 days at a time with 3 weeks in between. Your attitude helps me tremendously.
Vicki
I'm right behind you - number 7 starts next Tuesday!
I have to agree with another post tho - Monday comes around and I tend to get really quiet (Nick calls this my crabby time). Tuesday morning I lay in bed and just whine - I don't want to go again.....
I hope the ride down the hill is faster the the ride up.0
