Today two years ago I had my resection and woke up with my ileostomy. What a journey it's been. To those of you who have just been diagnosed or who have had the same surgery stay strong. Some days are hard for me still. But most days I'm so determined. Hopefully for the ones that have just found this board you'll beat this Cancer devil. God bless everyone.

    i guess i was lucky
to not have the ileostomy. but whatever the circumstances, I've learned here, it could always be worse. I've made alot of friends here, and am happy for that. It's always comforting to be able to talk to people who know exactly what you are going through.

I've had several people say they wish they could feel what I feel for just a bit to understand - no they don't...

    Thank you Johnny B. Some
Thank you Johnny B. Some days I don't feel so inspirational just mad at the world. I fought the C monster because I love my family. My youngest son just got married and it was worth all of the pain just to see him say his I Do's. He will be deployed to Iraq soon. Wish you could go to my support group, you'd have alot of fun. LOL

    Thinking of you
We have the same anniversary! Thinking of you and wishing nothing but the best. Seems my journey was a bit easier.

Sending good vibes always. Keep your energy for moving forward.
