Prayers and love to you Vicki as you start the healing process from your surgery. Keep us posted when you can.
and all the prayers for you and a speedy recovery.
having a best friend there is a wnoderful thing. my friend of 40 years was waiting for me when I woke up, she flew up to this cold tundra from sunny warm florida - now that is true love! however - she was more like a master sergeant with the walking thing - but I love her anyway!0 -

Vicki,
Wishing you a speedy recovery with no surprises. Remember, if you do have to laugh, try holding a pillow gently on your tummy. It worked for me; my surgeon was a funny guy.
Now, about that chocolate, you won't really be needing it anytime soon, soo.......just kidding!!
You're in my prayers,

Yep, I have a million things to do...mostly to do with the magazines. But along about midnight last night, I had a revelation - I DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ALL! This is why God gave me those two wonderful employees...they can handle it. So today I am cleaning up a few loose ends, and getting my guest room ready for my best friend of 40 years to come and take care of me. We are going to have fun...OK, as much fun as I can after surgery! But she can sit by my bed and regale me with stories, and make me walk and eat and all the good things I'll have to do. But not laugh....I'll save that for after I heal. Oh, and she can dispense drugs on demand...that's a must!
Thank you for always being there for me, and others. God is good to give me such wonderful, supportive friends.
Vicki
PS - Donna, OK, now I have to worry about waking up?? LOL! I am such a control freak that my family warned the doctor that I'll probably want to do the operation myself....
Well,my friend, your surgery should be over by now and you should be on the 'Happy meds'. I just wanted to tell you that you've been on my mind all day and I'm hoping and praying all went well. Have someone give us some updates if you can. Best of luck on healing----the hard part is over, now just take that that deserved time, kick back (well don't kick too hard), let everyone else wait on you for a while. I've just been wondering about you and and how surgery went.
Prayers and hugggggs coming your way ! ! !
