Pink for strength
Hey Tasha...i'm watching that space I love your posts (they make me laugh) Please keep me up on the continuing saga of...."The Home for the Terminally Bemused" ! Pink is not a color that does my golden tone any justice at all!! But i still wear it proudly although mostly survivor ribbons and accessories. Right after i was diagnosed my family gave me a little shiny survivor pin in pink. I wear it to every treatment/surgery.. My cancer team knows how important this is to me and makes sure it is in a safe place if i have to take it off. When i have it on it glimmers hope to me and strength from my family and all the other survivors who have proudly worn pink. Also a statement to the world that yes i am and intend to be a survivor! With God's grace i know this can happen. So wear your pink proudly Dear Tasha ..it can be just a little symbol don't need to be from head to toe like your beeeautiful locks of hair.lol
God Bless

I have always liked all colors but not as much pink or anything. Now it is like an obsession. I have to have pink, pink, pink!!! The RN at the breast care center, on the day I had surgery, brought me some nice gifts, among those were, a pink survivor cap and a pink survivor shirt and many other pink things. I just love those. Now my brother gave me a pink ribbon for my car and my husband gave me a pink ribbon car air freshner. Also, I just won some lovely pink ribbon earrings and a purse calendar off of ebay for a low low price..... I just can't seem to get enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of Love,

Turquoise rules
A few years back I painted our master bedroom turquoise. Moopy wasn't totally convinced it was the way to go but she had to admit I was right. I am typing this on a backlit keyboard which is lit up in... turquoise. So you can bet I'll be watching this space very carefully!0 -

Awww, you lot are just so kind and nice putting up with my daft posts. I really appreciate every one of you! I think I have a turquoise bath robe, not sure though as I am colour-blind....I just hope it isn't PINK! Ot the men in white coats will be "Coming to Take me away, He he Ha ha..To the funny Farm...."......you know the rest. I think I'll take up Basket Weaving.
Day 17 without running water here...The Bog's Frozen, The chicken keeps breaking into the dining room, I've forgotten what the shower is meant to do and the laundry is about 15ft high.
Hugs to you all J xxxxx0 -

You aren't daft you are hilarious. If the heat joins the water, I say burn the laundry. You could kill two birds with one stone. And I always thought the basket weaving would be interesting to learn. Think about it. At the funny farm, you get meals, a bed, water, and no expects much of you. It's got real possiblities.

Hey you read the bbc site everyday too... England had more snow than it has had in 18 years, 4-6 inches in Leicestershire where my Mum and Dad live.... the whole country has come to a standstill, they are just not prepared for it. I live in Ontario Canada, where it is a much nicer clime........NOT, Day 17 of freezing pipes and no running water here. Mum phoned today, I told her I have no time for whingeing Poms and their 5 inches of snow........Bless her.0
